Luxembourg was a fortress. It had the surname "Gibraltar of the north". If you want to understand Luxembourg as a country you need to visit this museum. They also offer guided tours.

Even if you’re not into History, it is worth visiting the Musée de la Forteresse Dräi Eechelen. And if only for its location, the beauty of the old historic building, the view from the Fort Thüngen on the city or to visit the Museum of Modern Art which is located back to back to the 3-Acorn-Fort.
