North of Volos and on the southern slopes of Pelion, Portaria is built at an altitude of 600 meters. A resort since the beginning of the 20th century, it remains one of the most visited villages of Pelion, maintaining its traditional colour with buildings that follow either the Macedonian architecture or the neoclassical one, built by the greek migrants in Egypt. The most classic route in Portaria is the path of the Centaurs, a short route that passes through the most important sights of the settlement. Together with the stops it lasts a maximum of two hours and is enjoyable as it moves in the settlement but also in the greenery of Kakavos creek.

Το Μονοπάτι των Κενταύρων ειναι ιδανικό να επισκεφθή ο καθε επισκέπτης απέχει 2 χιλιόμετρα απο το Αρχοντικο Ευηλιον και ο μεσο ορος διαδρομής είναι μια ώρα!

Στο όμορφο Πήλιο κρύβεται ένας θησαυρός που μας συνδέει απευθείας με την μυθολογία! Ο λόγος για το «Μονοπάτι των Κενταύρων». Πρόκειται για μια κυκλική διαδρομή 2,7 χλμ με ομαλή κλίση που προσφέρει άνετη πεζοπορία.
