Seneca Falls has long believed itself to be the inspiration for Bedford Falls in the film classic It’s a Wonderful Life. Each year, our town celebrates with an It's A Wonderful Life Festival the second weekend in December. But the Museum is open all year round. Open Tuesday-Saturday 11:00am-4:00pm (Closed for major holidays) Admission: Free

Did you know It’s a wonderful life was based on Seneca falls? Yup “Bedford falls is Seneca Falls” the play write was visiting his aunt in Seneca falls when he penned the famous book.
