Looking for a day out... take the ferry from Manly to Circular Quay, walk around The Rocks market and have a glass of wine at the Opera Bar or Oyster Bar near the Opera House. Catch the bus home...

The old saying was 'Seven miles from Sydney and a thousand miles from care'. If Manly is not enough take the 25 minute ferry trip to Sydney city

Catch the Manly ferry to Circular Quay. It's a great way to get into the city.

Manly is a lovely place to go for a day trip, and catching the ferry there is one of the highlights of the trip. The ferry leaves from Circular Quay every half hour or so and costs $15 or less. On a sunny day, it's a really beautiful way to see Sydney harbour and get glorious views of the Harbour Bridge and Opera House.
