Our favourite restaurant in Silves! Situated in the heart of historic Silves, between the castle and IbnAl-Mutamid-Amar and a gorgeous Gothic cathedral, the Café Inglês, built by a renowned figure in the city, is housed in a striking building of oriental inspiration which refers to the final nineteenth century. Café Inglês is more than a place where you can enjoy a delicious meal or a nice drink in beautiful dining rooms or if time permits in its various terraces if you prefer. Live music days: Friday and Saturday night and Sunday lunch. Open for lunch and dinner.

Great pizzas with a very welcoming space with a nice view and staff. Life music to go along with your meals during Friday's and weekends. I worked there so I know for experience it's a nice place to be.

Friday & Saturday nights and Sunday afternoons see this place absolutely packed out as people in the know want to make the most of their visit, and enjoy great food accompanied by fantastic musicians. Every week sees a different band/group/duet and plenty of different styles, so if music is your thing make sure you book a table in advance.
