Depot Restaurant at Cody Creek features a relaxed atmosphere in the rolling hills at the foot of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Their menu has all the staples – ribs, steak, chicken, seafood and salads. Sundays offer an authentic Southern home-style menu, typically featuring pot roast, meatloaf, fried chicken, cornbread and an array of vegetables. The Depot gets its name from the Sanford Depot, where they bought many of the parts incorporated in the restaurant’s décor.

The Depot is a very unique local restaurant that is really cool to exprience. Drive over a covered bridge and arrive at what looks like a train depot. There are plenty of front porch rocking chairs, an indoor water wheel, and even a little country store to get hand dipped ice cream after supper!

This is so rural Carolina. Great setting with a wedding chapel and gift shop.
