The Jet Black Sand is truly incredible to behold! The Hawaiian Honu (Turtles) are usually there sleeping on the beach in the sun. They are protected so please give them their space.

The Punaluu beach park is a short walk from our rental.

You'll lose count of the number of green sea turtles here, and usually a few are on shore for an up-close look. Not to be missed!
