A beautiful free mini zoo in Newcastle, nature walks and a playground (note parking is approximately $5/hour with a max of $20).

Blackbutt offers wild life including Wombats, kangaroos, emus, bird life, snakes, Koalas etc. As well as BBQ areas and a great play ground for children.
