You haven't visited Yogyakarta before you visit this Place. FYI, Yogyakarta is only region that have monarchy system in Indonesia and the king of the palace who is always to be the governor. So it called "Special Region of Yogyakarta". Kraton Jogja takes only 3 mins walking from 303 stay.

Go to Keraton on Sunday morning. They have a special Javanese ballet every Sunday at 10 am. If your visit does not happen on Sunday, be sure you visit the museum. Worth to see.
