Small plates (get it, "sample" room?) and a full bar, nice atmosphere, outdoor seating in summer, and a spot right on the Mississippi (although you don't have river views in the restaurant). But you can walk outside and down the stairs onto the dock that stretches out into the Mississippi (or, maybe that's trespassing!? Oops, I do it all the time.) Nice spot. Moderately priced.

I love the Sampleroom because they have something for everybody. My BF loves their burger. I love their Saturday and Sunday brunch till 3pm. Small plates or large meals with some vegetarian options. They also have a good cocktail menu if you want to have just a drink and a snack at the bar. nice patio and you can walk down to the Mississippi River and check out the sunset after dinner.
