It is unquestionably worthwhile visiting this location. Great for walks and close to restaurants and cafes. Only 350m from the property. There are no stairs to the statue of Cristo Rei, lovely location with lovely scenery.

Iconic Cristo Rei in Garajau with beautiful views. Take the cable car on the spot and go down to Garajau beach for diving, or beer, or just for reading a book

Contemplate the historic mark for the Portuguese and a magnificent view over the seaside. And no you cannot climb up the statue in case you wondering. You can go down the ravine on a cable car or chose to take the road that leads to the beach.
