Nivelles, The pearl of the Romanesque period! Its magnificent collegiate church in the historic heart of the city and the ruins of Villers-la-Ville (35 km from Brussels). If you stop by in Nivelles do not hesitate to contact my parents (via myself), they will offer you a delicious glass of white wine with blackcurrant syrup and cheese!

Beautiful roman church, off the normal tourist route. Well worth a visit for its simplicity and wonderful architecture. We like the stained glass windows in particular

Collégiale Romane de Nivelles datant du XI ème siècle. Dans cette ville, vous pourrez également déguster la fameuse tarte al D'Jote ( spécialité nivelloise ) à manger chaude.
