The Ayam Kampung (Malaysian spelling) is the chicken breed reported from Malaysia. The name means simply "free-range chicken" or literally "village chicken". Mat Ayam Kampung serves fried chicken and variety of Malay dishes. Don't miss the fried anchovies (ikan bilis) peanuts and chilli paste!
