The planetarium of Costitx is the only center to observe the universe in the island. Placed in the village due to its unique location far from the light sources of the cities. They discovered several asteroids orbiting the Earth (the firsts discovered in Spain since 1945) They organize projections, talks and star-hunting during different days. Prior reservation required.

Mallorca's observatory is 650 meters from your doorstep and it is run by the kindest and most enthusiastic group of people! Year-round, you can attend a show & tour in English. They take place on Fridays and Saturdays! First, you watch a movie about our world and space on the massive dome-shaped screen of the planetarium and then - on clear nights - you can look at stars and planets through their very big telescopes! Contact us and we will speak to our friends to reserve your spots!
