Definitely worth a visit. Ocean Grove was originally a venue for one of the founding preachers to host his summer teachings. His followers would pitch tents to hear his sermons. It became so popular a town was built around it. The tent city still exists from mid May thru mid Sept, they’re passed along from generation to generation of church members many of which use the tents as their summer homes.

Stroll through Ocean Grove and tent city surrounding the auditorium, walk down Main Ave, stopping in shops and restaurants.

So every summer, a bunch of people live in platform tents!! Seriously!! It's definitely worth checking out if you're biking to/from Asbury.
