In our opinion, the best sunset and views on the island. Leaving Jurerê Internacional, turn right (rather than left, towards town) and go about 3 km to the entrance to Balneário Daniela. Turn left on Av. das Palmeiras (third to the left after the entrance to Daniela) and drive to the end of the street (about 2 km) and park. On the beach, turn left and walk about 20 minutes to Pontal. It is a fantastic walk along the beach, especially in the late afternoon. From the Pontal, there is a great view of the Ratones and Sambaqui islands, downtown Florianópolis in the distance, the Tabuleiro Range to the south and the Governador Celso Ramos peninsula. AVOID BATHING IN THE SEA AT PONTAL: the water may look calm, but there are very strong converging currents!

Local no final esquerdo da Praia da Daniela que possui umas das mais belas vistas para o centro da ilha e das pontes que ligam o continente.

Área de restinga com proteção ambiental permanente. A paisagem é de tirar o fôlego. Porém, é o único lugar da praia perigoso para banho de mar, por ser onde o mar encontra com o mangue e, por conta disso, formar uma correnteza forte. Lugar lindo para caminhar de manhã cedo.
