6 km boardwalk along the coast, with easy access to all beaches and restaurants. Great for jogging and long walks. Wonderful views of sunrises and sunsets.

If you like strolling by the sea but away form the sand then the Mijas boardwalk is great. It starts by La Cala beach(take exit Cala de Mijas) which is about a 15 min drive from BtLT direction Marbella (take the coastal road NOT the highway).

Maritime path that begins in the Torreón of Cala de Mijas and runs about 7 km of coast with access to beaches and natural environments. Ideal for walking, nice to see the sunset. Highly recommended.

The Senda Litoral is a wooden boardwalk which has been built along the shore line just down the road. You can get to it via any of the beach accesses. It is a beautiful walk in either direction and it stretches for many miles along the coast. If you walk down to the sea and start walking to your left, after about 30-40 minutes you will find the busy town of La Cala de Mijas (with a lot of nice beach bars along the way). If, instead, you walk to your right, you will reach the leisure port of Cabopino, where the boardwalk currently ends. Here also you will find more great restaurants and beach bars. Either way, it's a fantastic walk around all the coves, little bays and beaches, and a favourite amongst all locals and visitors.
