This 40-mile trail is a favorite destination in the Northeast. Easy flat paths for hiking, running and bicycling - there's a bike rental shop in East Hampton.

Rail trail that extends of 45 miles through the center of CT. Great for biking and hiking. Parking and access either at the municipal parking lot next to Main Street Pizza in downtown East Hampton, or by Cranberry Bog. A cool place to hike in the summer as it is mostly shaded.

Hike along the Airline Trail that expands through several towns. Ride your bike or hike it, its a good afternoon venture.

This is an old railroad bed that has been turned into a hiking biking trail. There are various points you can get on it but this is a good place and you get some really nice views crossing some old viaducts.
