A bufadero, also called a buffoon, is a geological formation of littoral morphology in cliffs of karst or volcanic origin. It is a natural chimney normally open on a cliff, which is connected to sea chasms. Sea caves connected to the surface that, thanks to the pressure of the waves, result in those jets of water with their dry explosion sound, a characteristic snorting sound. The coastal rocks become immobile whales, their stony spiracles expelling jets of water and sprayed foam.————————————————— Un bufadero, también llamado bufón, es una formación geológica de morfología litoral en acantilados de origen cárstico o volcánico.
