Beautiful site for botanizing! Acres of beautiful flowers and trees. Privately owned, so not a free destination, but Oregon Garden has a really nice cafe with wine and beer so its easy to make a day of it.

They have Christmas in the garden with ice skating, tubing, shopping and beautiful lights ALL over. It is our family tradition to go every year. The restaurant on the grounds is great as well.

Lots of walking and gardens with sculptures among the gardens. The Oregon Garden Resort is in the vicinity, where there is dining, a lounge with live music.

Many different types of gardens to see at the award winning Oregon Gardens (not to be confused with the Oregon Garden Resort behind it). There is a tram that will take you around to different stops within the large acreage. While you are there you can also tour the Gordon House designed by influential architect Frank Lloyd Wright. This is a separate tour.
