30 mins away- The Aquarium of the Pacific is a public aquarium on a 5-acre site on Rainbow Harbor in Long Beach, California, United States. It is situated across the water from the Long Beach Convention Center, Shoreline Village, and the Queen Mary Hotel and Attraction.

This is a great place for families to take their kids to. If you like see life then this is the place for you. You can view anything from sea lions to sharks to jellyfish at the aquarium. Easy to get to as its only a 1.2 mile walk along the beach.

On-site are 32 displays in 19 different habitats representing the Pacific Ocean’s unique environment. Within these habitats are more than 11,000 marine animals representing 500 species; these habitats are as close to their natural design as possible.

Great place to visit located in downtown Long Beach walking distance to everything around Beaches restaurants sport bars queen Mary etc.

A fun and fantastic day can be spent here! I would recommend it for ALL ages. Enjoy the coast of California and learn a little about who lives in the Pacific Ocean.
