Chicago friends say this is the best deep dish pizza outside of Chicago. I think it has the most unique take on a gluten free pizza, too. Several shops around the East Bay

Fantastic Chicago style deep dish pizza. Don't get the thin crust pizza here, go for the deep dish! Zachary's has such a devoted following that their fans create art about Zachary's that the restaurant displays on their walls. Zachary's is collective owned and they have several locations throughout the area, including Rockridge, Grand Avenue, Berkeley, Pleasant Hill and Pleasanton.

A Berkeley and Oakland classic, best known for their Chicago stuffed pizza. Try the chicken or the chorizo specials. We also love their thin crust pesto pizza. Close to Rockridge BART.
