This restaurant is located on top of the large hill in Sipplingen and has an amazing view of the lake! They also offer ice cream sometimes in summer. You can hike here from Sipplingen, it is ca. 30 minute hike through the that is uphill so it is a little bit challenging in some places, but most people, even children don't find it to be a problem and enjoy the hike to get there. And of course the hike back down to Sipplingen is much easier as it is downhill :) Please note, the restaurant is usually only open from April-October but just make sure to check the opening days and times online and maybe call to verify. Even if it is the off-season and they are closed or you don't want to go there to eat or drink, the Haldenhof is a great location and popular location to hike to just to take photos of the lookout view of the lake. If you choose to drive here instead of hiking, it is only about 10 minutes drive from Sipplingen.

Schöner Platz mit Restaurant, toller Aussicht auf den Bodensee und idealer Ausgangspunkt für kleine Wanderungen. Beautiful place with restaurant, great view of Lake Constance and an ideal starting or ending point for small hikes.

Der beste Ausblick über den Überlinger See? Den findet man hier. Das ist natürlich kein Geheimnis, weshalb der Haldenhof viel frequentiert ist. Es gibt allerdings auch wirklich viele Sitzplätze im schönen Garten. Sportliche Menschen können von Ludwigshafen aus wandern, die Wanderung ist wunderschön, mit einer kräftigen Steigung. (Nicht für Kinderwagen geeignet)

Eine schöne Wanderung zum Höhengasthaus Haldenhof ist jeden einzelnen Schritt wert. Die Atemberaubenden Blick auf den Bodensee werdet ihr so schnell nicht vergessen. Auch kann man sich dort oben kulinarisch verwöhnen lassen.
