To the east of Ierapetra is the popular beach Agia Fotia, fully organized spot complete with a beach bar; and Achlia beach, covered with fine pebbles.

It is perfect for the windy days. The shore is clean and if you go early you can find good umbrella spots with thich shade.

One of the best beaches in Crete! Even if It is a windy day in Ierapetra, here it's almost always calm!
