Excellent selection of beers, ales and ciders on Custom House Quay. They don't serve food, but they do allow you to take food into the pub to eat, so if you fancied having fish and chips, takeaway pizza, an Indian or Chinese in the pub, you're free to do so!
The Front – This wins loads of awads for the beer, it’s the sort of place that has saw dust on the floor and kegs on display at the bar. You can head there for a beer or nip to the local chippy and enjoy your fish and chips in there as you can take your own food in.
Directly beside the water, the views and the choice of Cornish Ales are always a winner.
Great local real ales as well as some good wine. A real, friendly locals pub.
Monday evenings: Live Breton music and folk dancing - do go and enjoy watching or join in! Great choice of ales and loved by locals and visitors! One of a group of bars and restaurants at the fabulous Custom House Quay set with seats overlooking the harbour! You can bring food [pasty's!] in and they…
“The Chainlocker Pub – Recently refurbished, this is one of the oldest pubs in Falmouth and they have kept the original charm in the pub downstairs and created a beautiful restaurant upstairs with a number of tables looking over the harbour.”
“Great views and food only a 5 minute stroll along our road. The pub has been renovated to ensure social distancing is complied with. You will be hard pressed to beat these views.”
“Excellent selection of ales, beers and ciders. The pub has a quirky bookshop in it too!”
“Seven acres of green in the town and which are home to many fine ornamental trees. There is a play area for young and older children and a great space for kicking around a ball. There is a little coffee hut there called Kimberley Perk.”
“Humble looking burger place that belies the delights within. Don't go here unless you want a massive calorie hit (you're on holiday after all!). Great burgers, chicken, beef, several veggie and vegan options (my meat eating friend always has the Seitan burger, is it vegan? Yes it is, amazing!). Great large portions of home made fries (cajun, sweet potato....) the best beer in Falmouth made by our own Verdant brewery and a good choice of non alcoholic drinks. Great service, no fuss, just great grub. Have a look at the LP covers on the walls, hilarious!”
