Yzerfontein's 16 Mile Beach is the longest uninterrupted sandy beach on the South African coastline. Stretching north from the main beach to the West Coast National Park, which borders the town.

This is my Development at Mile 16 Private Beach Estate. We have 77 plots and so far we have built 31 homes. We are directly at the start of 16 Mile Beach which is South Africa's longest and most stunning beach. we also border the West Coast Nature reserve to our north which is fabulous for walks, bird watching and nature at its best. Mile 16 is a safe as it can be estate with fully controlled scured entrance with perimiter cameras and more.

16 Mile Beach is a wonderful beach located in the small harbour town of Yzerfontein, around 90km north of Cape Town, along the West Coast of the Western Cape. The stretch of sand extends from just north of Yzerfontein Main Beach all the way into the West Coast National Park north of the town. At around 30km in its entirety, this beach is the longest uninterrupted sandy beach on South Africa’s coastline. The beach is ideal if you’re looking for a quiet walk or run, or to kite surf on a windy day. Some companies offer outrides along the sand, so don’t be surprised if you come across horse riders or even the occasional ostrich. Whale watching is exceptional from September to November.
