Beautiful hike to natural ice formations. Can be a very busy attraction, so prepared a bit a hike from the parking lot.

I recommend wearing yak traks, which you can rent at the New Moon Bar on the way to the Caves, or order on Amazon before your trip. The Ice Caves are beautiful, but can be dangerous. I also would not bring very young children/infants.

once in a lifetime experience for any traveler during winter. be prepared to slip though! wear cleats and have walking sticks - even with those you will fall at least twice
