We highly recommend starting your visit to Acadia National Park with a visit to the Seal Cove Auto Museum. This is because the auto museum gives a brief history of the region that will give meaning to the rest of your visit. See hundreds of beautiful old cars, and learn how rusticators in Bar Harbor didn not want cars to drive on the island, while locals did, and who won out in the end. Now make your way to 25 Visitor Center Road, Bar Harbor where we recommend a drive up Cadillac Mountain, followed by a tour of the loop road (it's one way, beginning at the Visitor Center), and end with a bicycle ride on Rockefeller's blue chip carriage trails. There's no car traffic on the carriage trails, and the park is known for its beautiful bridges. The designer of Central Park designed it. End your visit with a meal in downtown Bar Harbor. www dot seal cove auto museum dot org 1414 Tremont Road in Seal Cove, a village in the Town of Tremont Maine, on spectacular Mount Desert Island.

About a miles drive from Cregboy Cottage, this little gem is one not to miss. Especially for car enthusiasts and history buffs.
The Seal Cove Auto Museum fosters joyful experiences for people of all ages and interests. Their collection features some of the earliest automobiles and motorcycles, as well as clothing and accessories, from 1895 through the early 1920s. They have different events throughout the year that are a great way to connect with the community.
One of the best antique car collections in the world. This is a hidden gem and a must see for car lovers. Also a great collection of motorcycles and bikes.
