Madfish Bay is actually a group of small beaches separated by natural rock outcroppings. The waters are somewhat sheltered with large rock-reefs not far off shore. The turquoise waters of Madfish Bay in summer are truly magnificent. The waves at this beach come from two different directions.

If Greens Pool and Elephant Rocks are busy, Madfish Bay is a fantastic place to explore. You can walk on the beach in either direction, fish, swim, kayak. There are two sheltered bays to the right. There is a sandbar leading to an island that can be crossed safely if it not too deep or if the sandbar is exposed. Lots of rock pools and exploring to be done here.
