Founded in 1875 by the Methodist Church, Bay View is one of the few remaining Chautauquas in the United States. Committed to the four pillars of the Chautauqua movement of the Arts, Worship, Education, and Recreation, Bay View has a rich and diverse 12-week academy in the summer months. The general public are welcome for worship, concerts, musicals, and lectures and may pay a small fee for participation in recreational activities as well as the Boys and Girls Club.

Bay View Association offers many interesting lectures and music events throughout the summer. The run from classical concerts to pop music.

This is listed only for the concert series, but we walk or run through Bay View since our cottage is located next to the Country Club! Please check out the Bay View Association Performance Schedule online. For most performances, you'll need to get your tickets well in advance, so plan accordingly. The scheduled June, July, and August concerts are well worth the advance purchase!
