Lovely neighbourhood restaurant with high-quality food and service. Great 3-course set menu, but à la carte is also offered. Amazing wine selection. Go for a celebration or a fancy night out.

Smia means smithie and the blacksmith who owns this place collects interior that has a story, so if you catch her ask her to tell you about some of the stuff innside. The food is beautiful, and the service is lovely.

Off the beaten path, but well worth the walk. On your way here, make sure to enjoy Vålerenga, with its old wooden houses. Smia is wonderfully romantic. Ask for a table by the fireplace in winter time.

Nice restaurant to sit down. Good for both lunch and dinner. More on the higher end, 3-5 courses are normal but not the most expensive restaurant in its genre.
