The bus system center is Uptown. The Hornets (formerly Bobcats) arena is nextdoor as is BofA HQ. The Linx Blue Line is about 100 yards west. There is NO link to the airport!

Check into the CATS routes (Charlotte Area Transportation System). There is a bus stop right outside the front door. On weekdays, it comes by every 20 minutes. On weekends, it's about every hour. It goes to downtown, then from there, you can go just about anywhere else in Charlotte (airport, mall, etc.) I just use Google maps and it tells me which bus to get on and at what time.
