Don's is the closest tubing outfitter, you can actually walk there from the River Haus if you want to avoid having to drive. And if you bring your own tube you can float all the way home, it's only a few blocks up the river!

At Don’s Fish Camp east of town, you can rent tubes or kayaks for your San Marcos River float. (San Martian tip: Hit it right when they open – 10 am weekends or 11 am weekdays -- to avoid floating amid loud, hard-partying groups. The San Marcos River is a gem, but not when your entire float is punctuated with screams and f-bombs.) donsfishcamp.com
