If you're into history, this museum is a must. It's big though, so I recommend starting in the middle if you're more interested in recent history (i.e. after the fall of the Berlin wall)

Sehr empfehlenswerte Dauerausstellung über die Zeit der DDR sowie wirklich gelungene Wechselausstellungen. Eintritt ist immer kostenfrei.
