Large natural open space with a large lake and nature preserves. Great trails for dog walking and exploration.

Crown Hill Park Trail at Wadsworth and 26th Avenue. One of our favorite places to go for a morning stroll. Easy walk around a small lake. From our front door, go west (left) on W 44th Avenue, left on Wadsworth to 26th Avenue, turn right. Go several blocks down 26th. Park enterance is on your right.

1 mile west on 32nd is a 60 acre lake with a nature preserve and beautiful views of the Front Range (Eastern face of the Rocky Mountains). We love walking around Crown Hill - I always imagine I'm Laura Ingalls crossing the plains and just seeing the mountains for the first time when I'm walking around Crown Hill!
