It is only 6 minutes' drive to Deschutes County Fair & Expo where is near the Airport. Many car rental agencies are located inside the airport too.

The 2019 Deschutes County Fair in Redmond typically occurs at the end of July/early August and offers up family-friendly entertainment including 4-H farm animals, the rodeo, the Family-Fun Zone and carnival rides. Stroll through the barns and see the goats, pigs, bunnies and many more animals raised by local kids.
