Ocean Drive is a breathtaking car drive through 10 miles or so of unparalleled atmosphere. Newport's "Ten Mile Drive" combines the history of a wealthy summer community with a fabulous Newport recreational treasure of public parks and miles of public access shoreline to rank as one of the most popular "drives" in the country.

This is a popular destination for tourists. You can drive or bike the length of it and peer out over the southernmost point of the island.
