Best views of Phoenix! Make sure to give yourself plenty of time and bring lots of water. This trailhead parking lot fills up quickly and you may be waiting to park. The full hike can take 2-3 hours. Please note: THIS IS FOR EXPERIENCED HIKERS ONLY! The terrain is steep and uneven and you’ll be sharing a very narrow trail with hikers moving up and down.

For more experienced hikers - it will take a good half of the day, but invigorating and you get rewarded with a 360-degree view of Phoenix once you summit! Take lots of water, get there early in the day.

Ascending Camelback Mountain via Echo Canyon Trail is about as good as it gets. Of course, the whole world knows this, so my recommendation is to do this during the week when school is in session. If you go on the weekend be prepared to wait for parking.
