A traditional place to be in the Old Town of Düsseldorf. Like in the good old times. You can stand outside at the tables watching the scene. A heating device helps in winter times. Gathering information and news from people you never have met before, who stand next to you at your table and talk to you. The waiter (Köbis), in his way friendly, will bring you an Altbier when your glass is empty. Some say: Suddenly it has been seven. Please do not ask for a coffee there. Inside it is cosy and usually packed with people, where you can enjoy traditional German food like Schweinshaxe (pork nockle) with Matchpotatoes and Sauerkraut.
