N首尔塔位于韩国首尔特别市龙山区的南山，前称首尔塔或汉城塔，高236.7米，建于1975年，是韩国著名的观光点。 N首尔塔的N既是南山（Namsan）的第一个字母，又有全新（New）的含义。工程耗资150亿韩元，新安装了适用于不同季节和不同活动要求的照明设备，粉饰了塔身。每晚7点至12点，还有6支探照灯在天空中拼出鲜花盛开的图案——“首尔之花”。

It is great to have this landmark right above us. The tower itself is a touristic destination, but the view from the mount top (not necessarily the top of the tower) is so great to see the entire city. You may also jog around this cleanest area of the city every morning.

Seoul has a number of viewing platforms where visitors can enjoy the nighttime cityscape or gaze out onto the Hangang (River) but the tower's Digital Observatory is unique, offering an astonishing 360 degree panorama over the city, and 32 LCD screens recounting the 600-year history of Seoul. That is why the observatory is so popular and such a source of pride. Situated on top of the N Plaza, the Roof Terrace is a spacious wooden viewing deck whose exotic atmosphere makes it very popular with lovers. A recent attraction for courting couples is "Locks of Love," thousands of padlocks attached to the fence by romantic Seoulites symbolizing their undying affection.

To reach the tower, there are two choices of ways you can go. First, you need to ride the Namsan cable car up the Mt. Namsan. To reach the boarding place, you have to walk for about 10-15 minutes following the right side of the Pacific Hotel, after coming out of the exit 3 of Myeongdong Station (Line 4). On the way the way from Pacific Hotel to cable car station, you will see the Namsan Guest House building. Or alternatively, the second way is walking to the tower through Namsan Park. If you have more, you can choose this way and enjoy the beautiful nature of Namsan Park.
