If you don't want to hike the Kalalau Trail, this lookout located on the Waimea side of the island will allow you to easily view the famous trail.

This is our favorite lookout on island. It is a lush green valley, with a ton of waterfalls when it rains. The only downside to this lookout is the clouds do block the view sometimes. It is really windy up here though and usually you can wait a few minutes and the clouds will open up for a great picture.
