The park is split by Highway 98. There is beach access on the North to Butcherpen Cove (Pensacola Bay) and beach access on the South to the Santa Rosa Sound. You can hike in the woods or along the beaches, there are barbeque grills and picnic tables, restroom, and an educational presentation in the visitors' center about the trees and wildlife.
