Picnic along the Mississippi River, while you watch the barges go by. Bring your boiled crawfish from Schafer's Seafood or Bevi and some cold beer, or grab some tasty sandwiches from Breads on Oak.

Otherwise known as The Fly, it's right on the Mississippi and you can chill on the banks with a beer and chicken leg and watch the boats go by. A great way to kill an afternoon. Sunsets are pretty here.

Another great place to hang out and chill and watch ships go by. Grab a sack of crawfish at Little Fisherman and a 6 pack of beer and head here for lounging, playing frisbee and watching locals hanging with friends and families!

Hang out by the river and enjoy a nice spring or fall day. Lots of people just hang out, bbq, and have picnics when the weather is nice.
