An old and unique river landscape. You can either drive, bike or walk. Or have a swim at the Bizonbaai. Every season has its own little, colourful presents.

Go walking at the Haterste en Overasseltse vennen, or the Ooijpolder. Good to know: From Opoe Sientje (at ‘the Kaaij’, at the Waalkade, city center), you can walk into the Ooijpolder. It also has small beaches where you can stay, chill, and swim until 10.30 pm. It is nature however, so you can encounter some wild horses or cows. If you go into the river Waal, please make sure your feet can still touch the ground; the Waal (river) has a very strong current!
