A huge stretch of open parkland which is the "countryside" of London. Lots of different parts to explore including natural ponds you can swim in and Kenwood house. Parliament Hill famously has one of the best views over London and a favourite place for people who fly kites.

Famous and buzzy street market on Fridays and Saturdays. All the tourists start at Notting Hill so try to start at the other end (Ladbroke Grove/ Goldborne Road).
There are good vintage clothes stalls and a food market (ready to eat) under the fly over (motorway) at the Ladbroke Grove end. Stalls turn into vegetables and general stuff in the middle and then antiques closer to Notting Hill.
There are also lots of good bars, pubs and restaurants along the road and on the side streets.
