Two minutes East on my street is Strahov - older than the Prague Castle. Part of the original fortification wall around Prague here. Great Library ca. 1500. Best beer in CZ brewed for 900 years her.

One minute South and out your window is Petrin Park, with lovely paths, interesting sights and activities, two very nice indoor/outdoor restaurants with VIEWS [everywhere in the park] over Prague.

Since the mid-1500s this has been a street of artists. It still is and is very beautiful, different, and with wonderful atmosphere. Nice and interesting cafes, restaurants, shops, people. 3 min. walk.

Once the home of the noble family Schwarzenberg. Now two museums - one of old weapons [back to Medieval days] - the other an art museum. One minute walk from flat. Highly recommended.

Food Scene
Best Gourmet Oriental Food I've ever had! Two minutes from flat. Many who've stayed here have eaten there more than once! Amazingly good - as as nice to look at, as to eat. Not expensive; nice feel.
