Great place for oyster's if you are in the quarter. I would recommend here before Acme Oyster house. Usually a shorter wait too. Just saying.

Just a neat way to spend a few minutes sightseeing. Take the ferry across the mississippi river to hitoric algiers point. You can get off and hit up Old Point Bar or wait the few minutes and come back across. Good alternative view of the city.
