Close to the city, but still nice and quiet to walk, bike or run :)

Very close to the apartment, nice for a run, to relax in the park, have a picnic etc.

A nice park not too far from the apartment, also close to the Dappermarkt.
Probably the most known park of Amsterdam. A bit too crowded for my taste, but very central.

IJburg has a small city beach, and in general the area is nice to see, because it is relatively new, has a different architecture, green, water etc. and it is not too far from the apartment to bike there.

Sightseeing
Known area for some of the famous museums (Rijksmuseum and Van Gogh). Also a nice area to hang out in the grass outside, fancy shopping street P.C. Hooftstraat and in general central :)
