Very peaceful between the trees in the park. When it gets colder they build a couple of fire places to cosy up. Good food!

Rent a bike!
Amsterdam is best experienced on bike, like every local does. Subway (Station Noorderpark is closeby) and trams are frequent and cheap. But biking is cheaper, more fun and above all: Faster.

Ferries
The ferries running across the IJ are free!
The one from IJPlein (close to the house) to Central Station runs until midnight.
The ferry from Buiksloterweg to Central Station (10 minutes walk)
runs all night.
