Hands down the best BBQ in New Orleans. Definitely worth a stop at least once during your stay. Take out and Dine in literally right around the corner from my house. You can smell the smoker from my front porch when the wind is blowing just right.

This is my favorite restaurant in the whole city and it's located just about a mile away in the Marigny. They have a wonderful brunch as well as dinner. Reservations suggested as they fill up quickly.

This little hole in the wall is only a few blocks away and has bar food from 7pm-midnight on most days. The service is terrible sometimes but the food is delicious and they typically have live music going on in the courtyard.

Voted 3 years in a row "the best bar in the bywater". I happen to agree as it has become my second living room and I work there! Friendly locals, sports package tv, cheap drinks, internet jukebox and a pool table. What more could you ask for?!
